On-off valves

Intelligent, reliable on-off Neles valve solutions for general and high-cycle applications will help to reduce the life-cycle costs. Our valve solutions provide long lasting tight shut-off with fast and safe operation together with reduced fugitive emissions. Neles shut-off valves combined with intelligent valve controllers provide diagnostic capabilities and increase plant safety.

Emergency shutdown valves

Reliable intelligent emergency shutdown (ESD) valves and actuators with Neles™ ValvGuard™ intelligent valve controllers improve your plant safety cost-efficiently. At Valmet, we have combined our know-how of valves, actuators, safety standards (IEC61508/61511), applications, system operability and partial stroke test devices with intelligent prediction tools. Diagnostic information is presented understandably to enable planned maintenance of potentially failing valve assemblies before they have a chance to impact the process or safety.

Ball valves

Our ball valves are designed to meet the requirements of the process industries with improved process safety and efficiency. Our proven technology in design, materials and coatings enhance process reliability in the most demanding shut-off and control applications. For control applications our ball valves provide famous Q-trim™ technology for noise attenuation and cavitation prevention. A wide range of product certifications include fugitive emission, fire-safe and SIL 3.

Butterfly valves

Neles™ butterfly valves are designed to truly optimize the efficiency of process operations by offering best-in-class valve capacity. They provide long-lasting tightness and industry-leading valve reliability, certified to SIL 3. Our product range includes both metal and soft-seated and rubber-lined butterfly valves.

Globe valves

Neles globe valves are high performance control valves designed to provide the best possible control accuracy and wide rangeability with all the inherent benefits of linear control valves. The quick-change trims and top-entry construction enable easy valve assembly and service, leading to extended operational life. Wide range of various trim designs are available from standard to low noise and anti-cavitation applications. Keeping track of the performance of the globe valves is simple with online monitoring. Neles globe valves are certified to SIL 3.

Segment valves

Neles™ segment valves are economical high-performance control valves designed for liquid, gas, vapor and slurry control applications - especially those with high capacity and wide rangeability requirements. The Neles™ R-series offers light weight, low torque control valves from 1" low-capacity models up to 32".

Eccentric rotary plug valves

Neles™ Finetrol™ eccentric rotary plug valve is designed for liquid, gas, vapor and slurry control in general and demanding applications. Neles Finetrol is certified to SIL 3. Excellent control performance and capability to handle impure fluids makes Finetrol well suited in refining and petrochemical industry applications.

Pinch valves

Flowrox™ pinch valves can be either used for shut off, also known as isolation, or control. Every Flowrox pinch valve is fit for the most demanding applications in which conventional valves encounter problems with wear due to increased turbulence.

Neles™ actuators offer reliable, long-lasting performance. We offer a wide range of high-quality pneumatic actuators, electric actuators and manual actuators designed to maximize cycle life and improve process efficiency. Our offering includes solutions for both rotary and linear valves, including rack and pinion actuators as well as spring-diaphragm actuators.

Limit switches

Integrating your automated valves utilizing Stonel limit switches will allow you to improve process performance and reduce life-cycle costs. Stonel limit switches offer a full range of monitoring, communication, and control platforms ideally suited for quarter-turn and linear discrete valve applications even in extreme process environments.

Solutions for cavitation, noise and flow-induced torque

Q: I need a solution for a demanding control valve application where the dynamic torque and cavitation have been challenging for conventional butterfly valves. Do you have any solutions in your product range? A: We would recommend our Neles™ Q-Disc™, which is available for our Neldisc™ and Wafer-Sphere™ butterfly valves. In short, Q-disc is a flow balancing trim designed to address the dynamic torque-related challenges included by flow in butterfly valve applications.
