Neles™ V-port segment valve for control applications, R-series
Neles R-series V-port segment valve is an economical high performance control valve designed for liquid, gas, vapor and slurry control applications - especially with high capacity and wide rangeability requirements. R-series offers light weight, low torque control valves from 1" low capacity models up to 32".

Neles™ R- series segmented ball valve for on-off applications
New Neles segmented ball valve for on-off applications combines the material efficient control valve design with the high capacity and proven performance of Neles on-off valve seating technology. Standard units are equipped with cylinder or manual actuators and intelligent on-off valve controllers to ensure excellent and reliable isolating performance

Neles™ MC V-port segment valves, series R2
Neles has created a specially designed Series R2 segment valves for 8-19 % medium consistency applications. The valve provides an optimized flow path for medium consistency pulp. The flow path is continuously increased to eliminate restrictions where material may build up. The outlet flange is one size bigger than the inlet to ensure this. V-contoured flow path enables to control small capacities without risk of dewatering.

NelesAce™ basis weight control valve
NelesAce is the ultimate solution for basis weight control which is one of the most critical applications for a valve in a paper machine. The unit consists of a reliable V-port segment valve, complete with a high-resolution step-motor-driven rotary actuator, limit switches, and potentiometer.

SCA pulp and paper plant sets new standards
Sustainability and high plant availability are the main requirements of the paper and pulp industry. This goes for SCA as well, which operates its largest European integrated plant for the manufacture of tissue products in Mannheim, Germany. Among other products, some 120,000 tons of pulp are produced here annually in a continuous digester.

Reliable valves increase process efficiency and lower total costs
Cost efficiency is a term found on every pulp and paper mill's top priority list now that the whole industry sector is going through a structural change with raw material and energy costs rising and environmental legislation tightening. To help pulp and papermakers tackle these challenges, Neles continuously develops its valve products and services further.

How to improve turbine efficiency
In the power and gas turbine market, competition among turbine and compressor manufacturers has become more challenging. Decisions are driven mainly by price and efficiency. Saving costs by selecting the correct application-based control and safety valves has become more important. New valve technologies and new valve designs help increase turbine efficiency and reduce costs while improving safety, for example, by installing a faster pressure relief in the case of a trip in a compressor or a gas turbine compressor.
