Neles™ ValvGuard™ VG9000 – intelligent safety solenoid

Safe, reliable operation with diagnostics and predictive maintenance

Neles ValvGuard is a top class intelligent safety solenoid with partial stroke testing features for emergency shutdown and venting valves. Based on the automatic PST and other diagnostics data, VG9000 increases safety and plant safety targets can be reached more economically than with other solutions.

Safe and reliable ESD valve operation

Low cost of ownership with lower installation and maintenance costs

Easy installation, configuration and system integration

Predictive maintenance

Features

Neles ValvGuard’s unique construction enables the diagnostics part of the device to be alive all the time and not depending on the safety part. This is a true user benefit and gives maximum availability of the diagnostics information. VG9000 is thus capable to record emergency trips with graph and key figures related to it. Large pneumatics capacity and embedded diagnostic features enable users to guarantee the reliability and availability of their ESD or ESV valves. Diagnostic information is presented in easily understandable way to enable planned maintenance of potentially failing valve assemblies before they have chance to impact on the process or safety.

We have further enhanced our ValvGuard offering with an intelligent PST solution called VG9PST. This latest development provides excellent protection against spurious trips when a customer uses an external solenoid valve, reducing the risk of consequent unwanted and costly plant shutdown.

  • SIL 3 certified according to IEC 61508
  • Emergency shutdown service
  • Stainless steel for off-shore applications
  • VG9PST together with extenal solenoid valve for spurious trip prevention
